Naseer urges politics of conciliation

ISLAMABAD—Politicians should show sagacity and join hands with government’s bid to transform the country into a developed one as the whole Muslim world is looking towards Pakistan for guidance.
Minister for Health Muhammad Naseer Khan told PTV that the leadership must show responsibility by setting example for the future generations.
People must have confidence in the institutions as well as their leadership.System must flow so as to enable institutions to gain strength, he said. Castigating on the behaviour of MMA he said the will of the majority must not be bulldozed. There is no point on this particular juncture of time for any party to take streets. Rather they can rely on the House by convincing the majority about their case. as every party has representation in the assemblies, he said.
After culmination of five years tenure of sitting government, antagonists should better go to the electorate and plead their case and wait for their verdict. This is for the first time in history that assemblies are completing their terms. Country has been put on the course of progress and prosperity. This healthy pace should not be disturbed only to satisfy sheer vested interests, he added.—APP
