FTA with GCC on cards

ISLAMABAD—Negotiations were continuing with Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) on a framework of Free Trade Agreement (FTA), Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri said Sunday.
Pakistan and Oman are enjoying close cordial relations with regional countries. In a bid to enhance bilateral trade and cooperation with Oman Pakistan wants free trade area with (Oman). Currently modalities are being workedout in this regard, he told newsmen. Describing his talks with Omani officials as fruitful he said Pakistan was persistently trying to further improve its relations with rest of the world including the Gulf countries and especially Oman, he said.—Agencies
