13 Pakistanis arrested in Ajmer

New Delhi—Thirteen Pakistanis, who are on a visit to India, have been detained by police for visiting Ajmer without valid visa and will be sent back home on Monday.
Pakistan High Commission immediately took up the matter with the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) here and inquired about status of the visiting Pakistanis.
Later talking to APP Special Correspondent here, Acting High Commissioner to India Mr Afrasiab told that the Commission was conveyed by MEA, the 13 Pakistanis who travelled to Ajmer without valid visas were not arrested, but detained.
The detained Pakistanis would be brought back to New Delhi tomorrow and sent back home on Monday, added Mr Afrasiab. The relatives of the visiting Pakistanis approached the Foreign Office in Islamabad after they failed to find out their whereabouts in India. Meanwhile, an Indian TV channel also aired a news about the detention of 13 Pakistanis.
The 13 Pakistanis had come to India on November 28 and were putting up at India International Youth Hostel here. They left for Ajmer on December 1.—Agencies
