SC orders Khaitran’s arrest

ISLAMABAD—The Supreme Court has ordered the immediate arrest of the husband of the Provincial Minister Nasreen Khaitran, Abdul Rehman Khaitran, and his production before the Court on Dec 8.
The Apex Court has also formed a Committee including DG Levies, Home secretary and I.G Balochistan to compensate the victim affectees, victimized by Abdul Rehman Khaitran.
The full bench of Apex Supreme Court, comprising of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Muhammad Nawaz Abassi, and Justice Saeed Ashad has remarked that nobody is above law, and cautioned against taking lighter view of courts.
The Court also deplored the fact that since official jobs could easily be obtained due to political clout, hence no one was taking their duties seriously. On this occasion DPO, Lora Lai, Shahid Javed offered his unconditional apologies to the Apex Court and promised to procure the offender in Court on 08th Dec.—Agencies
