President to sign WP Bill on Monday

ISLAMABAD—President General Pervez Musharraf will sign Women Protection Bill (WPB) on December 4 during a country wide Women Convention at Jinnah Convention Centre.
After ratification of the WPB by the President, the Bill will stand implemented across the country, sources told Online referring to the delay of President signature on the Bill. President has to sign the bill on Thursday (today) but on the request of Federal Minister for Women Development Samaira Malik, the President put off his signature on the bill till December 4.
Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Provincial Governors, members of NGOs and students will attend the convention. The president besides inking his signature on the bill is likely to make announcements vis-à-vis implementation on the bill.—Online
