OPF Girls College students Council takes Oath

ISLAMABAD—The Annual oath taking ceremony of the students council of OPF Girls College Islamabad F-8/2 was held here on Monday.
The Minister of state Labor, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis Mr. Ghulam Sarwar Khan administered oath from the newly elected members of the students council.
The President of the council Amna Jamal, Rubia Ghumman as Vice President, Hina Yousaf as General Secretary, Zarmina Wazir as Joint Secretary and Nida Khan as president Hostel council Zainab Lalika as vice president, Hina Yousaf as General Secretary and Joint Secretary Huma Gul , took oaths for their respective positions.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest said that he always believed in the aim of education to be fullest possible development of the human beings and the realization of all the potentials of a students. He further declared that the college was serving as a platform for the development of the leadership qualities among the students.
He called the ceremony a step towards the bright future of Pakistan and said “ The smooth transfer of power is highly commendable” He proudly announced the college as one of the institution of the country to meet the requirements of overseas Pakistanis.
Speaking on the occasion the newly elected president of the council, Amna Jamal laid emphasis on conducting various extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. She also spoke about the contribution made by the college students both at the national and international levels. The event was largely attended by students, parents and teachers.
