Afridi spins HBL to triumph in Patrons Trophy

KARACHI—Pakistan discard Shahid Afridi picked-up five wickets for 30 runs to spin Habib Bank Ltd (HBL) to massive 343-runs victory over Attock Refinery Ltd (ARL) in four-day Patrons Cricket Trophy grade-I match at UBL Sports Complex here on Sunday.
Afridi captured five wickets in a deadly 5.2 overs as ARL bundled out for 122 runs in their second innings. Babar Naeem resisted briefly for his 33 which included three hits to the boundary and one over it.
Bankers picked up full night points for the victory to maintain their top slot in pool “A” with their third win.
HBL will take on Customs in their last pool match at NBP Ground starting from November 29.
