Pak-Japan cultural ties consolidating: Envoy

ISLAMABAD—Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan Seiji Kojima said on Thursday said that the cultural relations between Pakistan and Japan are boosting and consolidating rapidly due to which people to people contact between the two countries is increasing.
He expressed these views while talking in inaugural ceremony of organized by female artists organization “Artistican Society” on competitions of dry flowers here on Thursday. The spouse of Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan Mrs Tamy Kojima, Federal Minister for Provincial Coordination Salim Saifullah, Secretary General Artistican society Tania Shah including other high government authorities were also present on the occasion. Seiji Kojima said that both Pakistan and Japan enjoy perpetual cordial ties which will further strengthen with the passage of time.
“Japan gives due importance to relations with Pakistan as there is totally unanimity of view on peace across the globe” he said. He also lauded the efforts of Artistic society for the promotion of art in youth. Such kind of ceremonies gives a venture to the youth intellects and boosts their hidden potential.
While praising the decorations of dry flowers he said that women should be given an opportunity to come forward so that they would be capable enough to ply their role in development of Pakistan. Salim Saifullah said that the government is taking pragmatic measures to give the women full protection. The government cannot ignore the importance of youth in no way, he added.
