JUI may snub Hafiz Hussain on resignation

ISLAMABAD—Jamiat Ulema Islam (Fazl) has decided to strip Hafiz Hussain Ahmad of party membership on account of breaching party discipline after resigning from National Assembly with out taking party leadership into confidence.
Well placed source in JUI-F Monday told Online that Hafiz Hussain Ahmad tabled his resignation with out taking party leadership into confidence and attempted to by-pass party in this sense.
Hafiz Hussain Ahmad resigned from National Assembly for pleasing the government as he is soon going to join PML-Q, the source added. Meanwhile, Hafiz Hussain Ahmad told Online that it was not as easy to strip him of party membership adding that he would present his reaction after the situation becomes clear. —Online
