President  to open IDEAS 2006

KARACHI—President General Pervez Musharraf will be chief guest at inaugural ceremony of defence exhibition, Ideas 2006, here on Monday (today) evening in the metropolis. The exhibition would be formally opened on Tuesday (tomorrow).
President will arrive in the city on Monday evening and inaugurate the defence exhibition. Security in the city has been heightened and delegations from different countries are arriving in the city to participate in the mega defence show.
The surrounding areas of the Expo Center, where the exhibition is going to be held, are declared sensitive and fool proof security arrangements have been taken. Capital City Police, Karachi in collaboration with Rangers and other law enforcement agencies have chalked out an elaborated security plan for the mega event. Police commandos, security officials and personnel secret agencies were deployed in the sensitive areas. Snap checking thought the city has been increase.
