MULTAN—West Indies spinner Dave Mohammed Friday said getting the wicket of Pakistan captain Inzamam ul Haq has boosted his confidence for doing better and making a greater impact in 2nd test starting here from November 19.
“Getting Inzamam was special, his wicket is one of the top wickets in world cricket and getting him has raised my confidence high, Mohammed said ahead of the 2nd match against Pakistan after his lost the first at Lahore by nine wickets.
Mohammed beat Inzamam in flight and bowled him for a duck with a ripping delivery which spun viciously after pitching.

“I think I tried hard in the first test, I believe I am more confident now than on the last tour,” the 27 year old said.
“I am looking forward to being a perfect all rounder, I feel I can hold up the tail and keep the last four batsmen together and when runs are needed I want to be there”, he added.
“I am feeling into the cricket right now, I feel I just want to be the best bowler in the team, I want to put up my hand and be counted once I get the chance and the opportunity”, said a confident Mohammed said.
Speaking about playing his first four test matches of his career in different series, on different continents, Mohammed said while disappointed he did not get a more regular run he has to put that behind him and move on.
“I am disappointed but I have to put that behind my back and try to move forward, what happened in the past is history, you have to move forward”, reasoned Mohammed who made his debut against South Africa in 2004.
