Mehmood Ali passes away

LAHORE—Minister of State for Cabinet Division and Chief of Tehrik-e-Takmeel-e Pakistan Mehmood Ali died of heart failure here on Friday.
He was attending a function of a private school here when he suffered a massive heart attack and expired while being taken to Hospital. He was 88. He was great champion of unity of muslims and against creation of Bangladesh. His Namaz-e-Janaza will be held today at Nazriya Pakistan Foundation at 4 p.m. Meanwhile, the nimaz-e-Jinnaza of late state minister, Mehmood Ali was held at Aiwan-e-Karkunan-e-Tehrik-e-Pakistan here on Friday afternoon. Punjab Ministers-Abdul Aleem Khan, Chaudhry Zaheeruddin, Chief Auditor Nawa-i-Waqat Majid Nizami, Mujeebur Rehman Shami,Editor-in-chief Daily Pakistan, Columnist Adeeb Jawadni, office bearers of Nazaria Pakistan and a large number of people belonging to all walks of life attended the nimaz-e-jinnaza.
Later, his body was sent to Islamabad where he will be laid to rest at 11.00 a.m tomorrow (Saturday).
