PFF chief congrats Korean Soccer team

LAHORE—Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)’s President Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat, Secretary General Muhammad Arshad Khan Lodhi, Advisor to PFF President Arif Rahim and Director Marketing Sardar Naveed Haider congratulated North Korean team for winning the title and Fair Play Trophy of AFC Youth Championship 2006.
DPR Korea overcame title favorites Japan 5-3 on penalties to win the event for U20 players at the Kolkata’s huge Salt Lake Stadium on Sunday infront of AFC President Mohamed bin Hammam.
They also spoke highly of Japan, South Korea and Jordan who finished from second to fourth respectively and Korea Republic’s Shim Young-sung who clinched leading scorer award.—Online
