NBP’s coming up with latest customers dealing techniques

ISLAMABAD—In line with its policy to provide utmost facilities to customers, the National Bank, Rawalpindi Region is equipping its staff with latest customers-dealing techniques.
Fully aware of the banking sector competition and emerging banking mechanism, the Bank has started imparting Information Technology training to all of the staffers across the Region. The biggest in the country, the NBP Rawalpindi Region deals with millions customers ensuring all possible facilities including its recently launched “NBP Customers Smile” campaign.
“NBP is gearing to professionalize its HR and Operations by focusing on need based training,” said HR Chief Rawalpindi Region, Muhammad Tariq Khattak. “Information Technology training to all employee and better Customers Service are our aim to attain the benchmark of ‘Smiling Customer” he said.
With excellent and impressive financial performance, the NBP Rawalpindi Region officers team was all out to enure customers’ facilitation. Comprising Dr. Mirza Abrar Baig and Muhammad Hanif who are leading the HR Group, the OD&T are committed to transforming its Human Capital into a more efficient workforce for tomorrow and achieve excellence in bank’s service culture.
A conference was also held in this connection couple of days back chaired by Muhammad Hanif, EVP/Wing Head who urged employees for quality efficiency. “We are putting in maximum to bring about quality change and enhance efficiency in customer to achieve bank cherished vision,” he had directed the employees of the Bank. Participated by great fervour the conference would be a step forward to impart IT training to more than 450 employees of NBP Rawalpindi Region.
Simply shifting from a routine practice of inviting dignitaries, the Bank honored its elderly account holder Col. (retd) Majeed to be the guest of honor at the ceremony. The bank is also taking lead in disbursing loans to needy people under the NBP Karobar and President’s Rozgar Scheme. “We are receiving good response for these schemes. It manifests the confidence reposed by the customers in our bank,” said Regional Credit Chief Mumtaz Rafi.
“Our main aim is satisfaction of our clients. Customers care comes first,” Rafi said and appreciated the longstanding affiliation of customers with the National Bank. Mirza Tariq Baig, Regional Business Chief and Mushtaq Ahmed Awan, Regional Operations Chief are exploiting their capabilities to the optimum for making bank vibrant and extending maximum facilities to customers. “We are ensuring excellent services for the satisfaction of our customers and to make the bank, ‘The Bank of Choice’ as envisioned by Bank’s President Syed Ali Raza,” Tariq said.
He was confident that the Bank would excel in all sectors during days ahead and provide maximum facilities to customers.
