APMA million membership campaign

ISLAMABAD—All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (APMA) has started country wide Million membership campaign for spiraling national unity, solidarity and affirmation of minorities’ rights. APMA established country wide membership camps in which minorities’ people including large number of women and young people participated in the form of procession and registered their names for million membership. During the membership campaign national anthem was being played and people waved APMA Flag.
Thousands of Minority People , Christians, Hindu, Sikh, and others, in processions holding APMA flag and banners chanted slogans of solidarity with APMA participated vehemently in the membership camps through out the country and fully appreciated the efforts, commitment and bold leadership of Mr. Shahbaz Bhatti, Chairman All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (APMA) for less privileged and depressed communities. APMA Million membership campaign will remain active up to May 1, 2007.
APMA Million membership campaign will continue throughout the country in all the Provincial District and Tehsil offices of APMA and minorities’ populated areas. APMA chairman visited different camps and appreciated the passion and sentiments of the APMA representatives and workers. On this occasion, Shahbaz Bhatti while visiting different camps said, “All Pakistan Minorities Alliance is a movement to uplift and empower the less privileged and marginalized communities particularly religious minorities of Pakistan. He said that each member of APMA will play a role in the promotion of human equality, social justice, religious freedom and national unity in Pakistan. APMA members are ‘PEACE BUILDERS’ committed to the cause to serve the suffering humanity. He appreciated and admired the minorities who showed their unflinching support to APMA. According to central media cell of APMA, the million membership camps are set up through out the country.
APMA Million membership campaign camp was set up in ITFAQ ground, where APMA women coordinator Punjab Mrs. NA)MI Saleem MPA, Chief organizer Punjab KHALID Gill, EZRA Shuja advocate, ROBIN Barket, METHIYAS-a-Khan, Counselor David Mukthar and different APMA members inaugurated the campaign.
