APMA to
launch countrywide membership drive
ISLAMABAD—All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (APMA) has announced to
launch Million Membership drive throughout the country from today
(Sunday) to promote national unity, brotherhood and rehabilitation of
rights of minorities, APMA medical cell reported on Saturday.
The purpose to launch drive is to promote national unity; brotherhood
among the nation, besides pointing out confronting problem of minorities
in the county so that their problem could be solved through proper way.
During the drive that would be continued till May of next year
membership camps would be established in all minorities areas and their
district offices throughout the country to raise the number of APMA
workers, which is yet 1 million.
More than million workers of APMA would perform their duties to remove
the misunderstanding between religions and to make Pakistan a real
modern democratic state as well as for the development of the country.
In this regard a ceremony would be held in Lahore today (Sunday) to
launch the countrywide membership drive, APMA media cell reported.
Chairman APMA Chaudhry Shahbaz Hussain has issued special directions to
all Provincial office bearers, District coordination committees,
minorities Member National Assembly, councilors, central executive
committee regarding successful of drive.
Chairman APMA Chaudhry Shahbaz Hussain appealed to all the minorities of
the country to actively participating in membership and promote
tolerance, peace and brotherhood in the society.—PR |
