Miscreants fire rockets at Wana Scouts camp

WANA—Power supply of South Waziristan’s capital Wana on Wedn sday was been disrupted following the encounter between unidentified saboteurs and security forces.
Unidentified saboteurs fired four rockets on Scout Camps in Wana, three of them landed in the camp and one outside of the camp. After the attack of rockets, security forces retaliated by attacking with artillery fire due as result of which power supply of the areas was disrupted.
Earlier, unidentified saboteurs had fired rockets on the Camp while NWFP Governor Muhammad Ali Jan Aurakzai was on a visit there After departure of governor form Wana, Security Forces had initiated artillery fire against the suspected hideouts of saboteurs.
A person was shot dead and two passersby got injured including a FC personnel at the Miran Shah Bazaar Head Quarters Hospital, North Waziristan on Wednesday. According to details unknown assailants opened indiscriminate firing at Hakim Khan early morning with a Kalashinkove. Hakim Khan died on the spot whereas two passersby Sher Muhammad resident of Miran Shah and FC personnel Rafiq sustained injuries.—Agencies
