CDA earmarks Rs40m for facelift of Loyee Dandi

ISLAMABAD—The Capital Development Authority has set aside an amount of Rs. 40 million for beautification and uplift of Loyee Dandi, the scenic Chillah Gah of Hazrat Shah Latif Bari Imam, which has almost turned into a picnic spot for the people of the twin-cities. Sources in the authority say that tenders have already been floated for construction work on several schemes at the site, a few kilometers off Bari Imam Shrine in Margalla Hills. The site is frequented by a large number of Zayereen every day, particularly on Friday and week-ends.—Agencies
