Meeting on Balochistan to be held on 16th: Jam

QUETTA—Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Mohammad Yousaf has said the meeting of the tribal leaders and notables of the province scheduled to be held in Islamabad on November 8 has been postponed.
Talking to newsmen during his visit to newly constructed building of Quetta Press Club here Friday, he said the government is now considering holding of the meeting in Gwadar on November 16. The CM lauded the role of local press in highlighting the positive steps of the government and the development projects in the province and said the press enjoys full freedom in the country including Balochistan. He said the press and the provincial government are enjoying cordial relations and assured that it would be kept intact in future as well. Jam Yousaf, on the occasion, also announced Rs five million for Quetta Press Club.—Agencies
