Pakistan, China trusted friends: Kasuri
Staff Report

ISLAMABAD—Foreign Minister Khurshid M. Kasuri Friday said the friendship between Pakistan and China is unique and China is Pakistan’s most trusted friend.
He stated this while welcoming an 8-member delegation of Ethnic Affairs Committee of National People’s Congress, led by Kui Fulin, which called on him here at Foreign Office this afternoon. Fulin said that their delegation had a useful exchange of views on minorities and other related issues with various Ministers and Parliamentarians. He said that Pakistan and China enjoy a very special strategic partnership and China is keen to develop it further. Foreign Minister Kasuri said that it is our responsibility to educate the younger generation in the two countries of the importance of this relationship. He said that this could only be achieved by building strong linkages in educational, cultural, economic and scientific fields and by enhancing people-to-people contacts.
