Foolproof security for US citizens, intelligence report

ISLAMABAD—National security related institutions in a report sent to the President House and the National Security Council has pointed out severe reaction to the recent Bajaur Agency bombing that left 83 persons killed in addition to that it has been urged to beef up security arrangements for the foreigners especially the US citizens in the country.
Highly reliable sources told Online on Friday that the component parties of the religio-political alliance Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) are trying to fan hatred amongst the masses against the government and the Army on the issue of bombing in the Bajaur agency.
They are trying to create a law and order situation by shifting the entire blame of the incident on the government’s shoulders. In addition to it is in the air that the tribal leaders and the masses are thinking on the lines of avenging the attack.
There are chances that the miscreants and terrorist elements in the country can act at any critical place and important city. The report has sought foolproof security measures for the foreign citizens living in the country.
The government has also been asked to effectively and wholesomely respond to the opposition parties’ propaganda. The intelligence agencies in this regard have stressed upon the need of bringing the facts into the media.
The sources maintained that the issue will also be discussed in the Corps Commanders conference next week.
