China condoles GIK’s death

BEIJING—The Chinese government Thursday expressed profound condolences on the passing away of former President of Pakistan Ghulam Ishaq Khan.
The Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai visited Pakistan Embassy here and offered condolences with the Ambassador Salman Bashir.
While writing his impression on the condolence book, he said “we mourn with deep grief over the passing away of a great friend of the Chinese People.” Ambassador of various countries and senior diplomats in large number also visited the Pakistan Embassy and recorded their sentiments in the condolence book.
