Prince Karim Aga Khan calls on President

ISLAMABAD—Prince Karim Aga Khan, who is currently on a visit to Pakistan from November 1 to 4, called on President General Pervez Musharraf here on Thursday. During the meeting views were exchanged on regional and international matters with a particular reference to inter-faith dialogue.
The President evinced interest in the Aga Khan’s initiatives and efforts in this regard. They also discussed the ongoing earthquake reconstruction endeavours, according to a press release issued by the Office of Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here. The President appreciated Aga Khan Foundation’s contribution towards the rehabilitation of the earthquake affectees. The camps set up by the Foundation in the aftermath of the earthquake are still operational and are providing the much needed medical assistance.
Aga Khan praised the economic achievements under the present government and the President’s over-arching supervision of various economic development strategies.—APP
