PIA wins Arbitration award against its former GSA

ISLAMABAD—Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Monday won the Arbitration award against its former GSA.
PIA recently won the ICC Arbitration Award, in one of the first arbitration, conducted at Karachi under the auspices of International Chamber of Commerce, Paris (ICC) invoked by Bengal ABN travels Limited, PIA's former (GSA) general Sales Agent in Bangladesh.
The arbitration award announced by the ICC international Court of Arbitration, spanning 84 pages, the GSA's damages claim against PIA was dismissed and PIA's Counter claim was allowed together with PIA's entire cost in the matter.
The matter was extensively heard over several days by the ICC appointed Sole Arbitrator, Professor Prachoom Chomchai of Thailand. PIA was represented by Barrister Sajid Zahid and assisted by Messrs.
