Politicians who served masses would win the elections: Sheikh Rasheed

RAWALPINDI: Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has said that President General Pervez Musharraf strengthened political institutions in the country adding that only those politicians would win the forthcoming elections who have served the masses in real sense. He was addressing an Iftar dinner organized by PML worker Chaudhry Adnan here in Jhanda Chechi on Sunday.
The federal minister said that the people of Pakistan would drag out those politicians who deprived widows and poor of their rights and captured others land and property illegally. "Those politicians will win the elections who have served the masses in real sense", he added.
He told that President Gen Pervez Musharraf will soon inaugurate Railway Cancer Hospital in Rawalpindi consisting 500 beds and a project of construction of roads on both sides of Nullah Leh while Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Ellahi will inaugurate a new hospital consisting 100 beds in Dhok Khaba.
