'Final list of SCBA candidates on Monday'

ISLAMABAD—President Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), Malik Muhammad Qayyum on Saturday said that final list of candidates would be issued on October 16 for Association's annual elections scheduled to be held on October 31.
The President said this while talking to APP about the elections being held according to the schedule announced by the Executive Committee of the Association under Rule 13 of the Rules of the Association.
According to the decision of the Committee, President of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan (SCBAP) will be from Sindh province for 2006-2007 as per turn system according to rules of the Association.
Three candidates from Sindh, Muneer A.Malik, Raja Haq Nawaz Khan and Chaudhry Jameel have filed their nomination papers for the post of presidentship.
Elections will be held on October 31 following un-official count of votes on same day.
