Govt to ensure development of Balochistan: PM

QUETTA—Governor Balochistan Owais Ghani called on the Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz here on Friday and discussed the provincial matters with him.
The Governor briefed the Prime Minister about the latest law and order situation and other matters relating to the province.
The Prime Minister while talking to the Governor said the federal government would extend full support and cooperation to ensure development of the province.
Shaukat Aziz said the federal government would utilise all resources to improve the living standard of the people in Balochistan and to bring them at par with other provinces.
The Prime Minister also discussed the mega development projects with the Balochistan Governor and expressed the hope that with the completion of these projects, more jobs would be created and new era of progress and prosperity would start in the province. —Agencies
