NH & MP foiled two attempts of dacoities

ISLAMABAD—National Highways and Motorway Police (NH & MP) (Sindh) foiled two attempts of dacoities and arrested four culprits which were wanted to Sindh police for being involved in different crimes.
As per details, a bus left Karachi and on its way to Multan was stopped with the help of firing by seven armed dacoities in the area of Moro for purpose of dacoity.
Meanwhile, the Motorway Police officers heard the firing and rushed to the site. On seeing the Motorway Police dacoits opened fire on officers and in response, the Motorway Police officers also opened fire on dacoits due to which dacoits fled away by taking advantage of the darkness of nigh and firing.
However, the dacoity attempt was foiled by the Motorway Police officers, by prompt action.
In another incident, the officers of NH & MP tried to stop a corolla car bearing No AC-3489 for continuous Lane violation, but the driver instead of stopping sped away.
However, the Motorway Police officers succeeded in stopping the car by commando action. Four persons were traveling in the car named Bashir Ahmad, Muhammad Sharif, Ejaz Ahmad and Hussain Bux.
On initial investigation, it revealed to the Motorway Police officers that the said persons were involved in different crimes and were wanted to Sindh police.
So the culprits were arrested and later on were handed over to local police for further legal action and investigation along with the recovered car.
The Inspector General of NH & MP has appreciated the performance of the officers who took part in these episodes.
