Pakistan sends 10 metric tones medicines to Lebanon
By Adnan Rafique

ISLAMABAD—Pakistan is sending another relief consignment to Bruit, carrying 10 metric tons of essential medicines for Lebanese people, on the instructions og Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.
"The consignment is likely to reach Beirut airport on 16 October," said a Foreign Office release issued here on Friday.
The Embassy of Pakistan in Beirut would handover the medicines to the Lebanese authorities.
Pakistan had earlier dispatched six plane-loads of humanitarian supplies to Lebanon including food items, medicines, tents and blankets, it said.
Foreign Office said Pakistan is committed to extend additional humanitarian assistance to Lebanon.
In this regard, the Government is taking steps to send a de-mining contingent to Lebanon for clearing explosive devices, which continue to pose a threat to the Lebanese people.
