PML-Q, MQM agree to remove conflicts

ISLAMABAD—Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has agreed to remove all variances and conflicts mutually.
This was agreed during a joint meeting of leaders of both political parties under chairmanship of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz here on Wednesday.
President PML-Q Chaudary Shujaat Hussain, Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Syed and Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting Muhammad Ali Durrani participated in the meeting from PML-Q side while Dr Farooq Sittar and Babur Ghauri represented MQM.
The two sides openly discussed the point of contradictions and expressed their stances.
The meeting decided to take efficient steps to remove divergences and conflicts.
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said PML-Q and its ally parties should make efforts jointly for progress, prosperity and political stability of the country.
"Prevailing stable political situations of Pakistan could only be sustained through removing misunderstandings and conflicts between each other (PML-Q/MQM)", he said.
The Prime Minister said intra-parties contradictions must be removed mutually without taking them to the media. —Agencies
