IIUI finalizes selection of advertisement agencies

ISLAMABAD—The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI)
has finalized selection of advertisement agencies for its image building
campaign and advertisements after an open competition among leading
advertisement agencies of the country.
As part of the routine procedure, the University invited all the
advertisement agencies accredited by the Press Information Department (PID)
for an open competition to design media campaign that should include
video documentaries, media advertisements, admission notices, gift
items, broachers, newsletter and television commercials etc. special
task given to the participating agencies was branding of the University
products and redesigning the logo.
46 agencies attended the initial briefing where Dr. Manzoor Ahmad,
Rector, IIUI, specially talked to the creative directors and executives
of the agencies. 21 agencies submitted media campaign that was examined
by the selection committee chaired by Dr. Anwar Hussain Siddiqui, Vice
President (A,F&P), IIUI. Dr. Ijaz Shafi Gilani, Dean Faculties of
Management and Social Sciences, Mr. Raja Farooq Haider, Director, PID
and Mr. Naveed Zafar, former Director, Advertisement and Marketing, PTV
attended the meeting as members while Mr. Mahmood Ahmad Farooqi as
secretary. Names of the two selected agencies will be formally notified
by the PID.
The participating agencies include Adgroup Advertisers, Adreach
Advertising Agency, ADS Advertising Agency, Channel7 communications,
Crosscheck Communication, Eiman Ad Communication, Evernew Concept, HAWK
Advertising and Communication, Ideas Workshop Communication Solutions,
Manhaton Pakistan, Maxims Advertising Company, Mcom Advertising Agency,
Midas Advertising, Orient Advertising Agency, RED Communications,
Spectrum Advertising Agency, Syndicate for International Media
Management, Synergy Advertising Agency, Thoughts Advertising Data Source
Services, Time & Space Media and TNI Worldwide Partners. |
