PBSA announces Pakistan combination for Asian Games cue sports

KARACHI—Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) Tuesday announced the combinations of the team and schedule of events for XV Asian Games schedule to be held at Doha (Qatar) from December 1-15.
Pakistan will be featuring in snooker singles, doubles and team contest, billiards singles and doubles, 8- all and 9-ball competitions of the games.
England-based Pakistani Shokat Ali, who won the snooker singles gold in 1998 Bangkok Asian Games and Khurram Agha will appear in singles event, Muhammad Yousuf and Naveen Perwani in doubles while all these four players will also be part snooker of team contest.
Imran Shahzad and Farhan Mirza will contest in billiards singles while Vishan Gir and Sohail Shahzad will feature in billiards doubles.
Rambail Gul and Salman Shaikh race to 9 wrack 8-ball pool and Imtiaz Tipu and Syed Mesam Zaidi will contest in race to 11 racks in 9-ball pool.
According to schedule of the event provided best of 7 frames snooker doubles will be played on Dec 4- , best of five frames billiards singles with 100 points limit will be held on Dec 5, snooker team contest will be held on Dec 5-6, snooker singles on December 6-7, billiards singles on Dec-5 and doubles on Dec 6-7. 8- all pool will be contested on Dec 8-9 and 9-ball pool on Dec 10-11. —Agencies
