PPP has never closed doors of talks, says Badar

ISLAMABAD—Secretary General PPP Jehanghir Badar Tuesday said that PPP has never close doors of talks with any political party including the government.
While giving an interview to a private channel, Badar said that PPP has always taken decisions on its own and in accordance with the party's discipline.
He was of the view that PPP has its own rules and regulations and a specific mechanism for every issue.
"The PPP has always sought consensus of the party leadership before taking any decision, However, it has so far not developed any consensus with regard to formation of a grand Opposition Alliance", Badar maintained.
He further said that for this purpose, meetings of the party's Central Executive Committee and Federal Council would soon be convened. He added that the recommendations of the meeting would be sent to the party's Chairperson Benazir Bhutto and then a final decision would be taken in this regard. —Agencies
