government taking steps to resolve people's problems: Shujaat
ISLAMABAD—President Pakistan Muslim League Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain
Tuesday said PML government has been taking all possible measures to
resolve people's problems and providing them all basic needs of life at
their door step.
Talking to different delegations of workers here at PML House, Chaudhry
Shujaat said the PML has been implementing a comprehensive plan for the
country's progress and prosperity.
PML Secretary General Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Central Finance
Secretary Imtiaz Ali Ranjah other party leaders were also present on the
occasion. The PML President while talking to the delegation of Islamabad
Daily Wages Lecturers said the teachers are the country's backbone, and
the government would take all measures to solve their problems.
He assured the delegation that he would discuss their problems with
Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and told them that their genuine grievances
would be resolved soon.
While talking to Federal Minister for Manpower Ghulam Serwar Khan, the
PML President directed him to fix quota of the quake affected people in
the manpower being sent to Korea.
The Minister assured the PML President that Ministry of Labour and
Manpower has been taking measures in this regard and the quake affected
people would be accommodated. Wife of AJK President Raja Zulqernain,
Mrs. Fakhria Zulqernain also called on Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain at PML
House.
Women leaders of the party including Mrs. Farrukh Khan, Nazli Shujaat,
Farzana Malik, Amna Saleem, Riffat Sarwar, Mehmooda Kiani were also
present on the occasion.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain assured Mrs. Fakhria Zulqernain that government
would provide full help and assistance to the AJK government in relief
and reconstruction work for early return of normal life in Kashmir.
Another delegation of Punjab Teachers Union led by its President Jan
Alam Khan also called on Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain at PML House and
apprised him about their problems. The PML President assured the
delegation that their problems would be resolved in the current month
before Eid ul Fitr. He said he would discuss their problems with Punjab
Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
He said without resolving the problems of teachers and providing them
best possible facilities, the standard of education could not be
improved. Talking to teachers delegation, the PML Secretary General
Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed said by providing due status to the
teachers, the nation can not make progress.
He assured full help and support to the teachers from PML. Other
delegations from Islamabad, Gujrat, Mandi Bahaudin and Sindh also called
on Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain at PML House and discussed party affairs
