IIUI Distributes 1000 school bags in quake-hit areas

ISLAMABAD—The International University Islamabad (IIUI) distributed 1000 school bags along with stationery among boys and girls students for various schools in quake-hit areas of Balakot.
On the first anniversary of the devastating earthquake last year, a delegation of the officials of IIUI lead by Mahmood Ahmad Farooqi, Additional Director, Protocol and Public Relations, visited some schools of the area, interacted with the students and teachers and distributed school bags containing note books and other stationery. Other members of the delegations included Mr. Saif-ur-Rehman, Deputy Director, Transport and Syed Muzammil Hussain Shah, Coordinator, Dawah Academy IIUI.
The delegation visited Government High School for Boys, Government High Schools for Girls, Government Primary School and Friendly School under the management of All Pakistan Minorities Alliance all at Balakot and distributed 450, 350, 150 and 50 school-bags respectively.
IIUI publishes Urdu Summery of the Holy Quran Dawah Academy of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has published Urdu summery of the Holy Quran according to the recitation of the Book in Tarawih during Ramazan.
Compiled by Muhammad Ahmad Zubairi, Research Associate, Dawah Academy and Edited by Dr. Khalid Alavi, former Director General, Dawah Academy, the 488 pages book concisely and scholarly summarizes all the 30 paras of the Holy Quran in 25 parts.
The Faisal Mosque Islamic Centre of Dawah Academy used to distributes Urdu summery of the Holy Quran free of cost daily before Tarawih. Now all the 25 parts of the summery of the Holy Quran is published in book shape and available for sale.
