Gen Richard appreciates professional skills of Pak-Army

ISLAMABAD—General David Richards, Commander North Atlantic Territory Organization (NATO) forces in Afghanistan on Tuesday held talks with Vice Chief of Army Staff (VCOAS) General Ehsan Saleem Hayat at General Head Quarter, Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, NATO Commander apprised General Ehsan Saleem Hayat about operation of NATO forces against Taliban in Afghanistan and discussed views regarding information of Pakistan intelligence agencies and Pakistan army about Taliban and anti state elements.
He appreciated the professional skills of Pakistan Army.
Talking to David Richards, General Ehsan Saleem Hayat said Pakistan is fighting war against terrorism on its own interest.Both leaders of armed forces stressed the need to make implementation on decision of tripartite commission.
General Ehsan Saleem Hayat appreciated the role NATO in relief activities in earthquake-affected areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
