PSCB wants democratic set-up in PCB

KARACHI—The Chairman of Pakistan Seniors Cricket Board (PSCB) Fawad Ijaz Khan Saturday urged the new Chairman of the board Dr. Naseem Ashraf to introduce the democratic set-up within two months.
“Dr. Naseem should remain adhoc chairman of PCB for 60 days and revive the constitution of the board during that period,” he said in statement issued here.
“A committee should be appointed to form General Body of PCB taking the local associations and other related affiliated units as members,” he said.
“Fresh elections of the office bearers should be conducted from the amongst the members of the General Body,” he said PSCB Chairman offered all kinds of assistance in making PCB a democratic body.—Agencies
