Govt violated accord in Balochistan: Hafiz

ISLAMABAD—Leader MMA Hafiz Hussain Ahmed has said that MMA-government agreement over formation of government in Balochistan has been violated due to which the religious alliance would not only join every platform against the government but all the component parties of MMA are ready to part ways with the Balochistan government .
While talking to a private TV channel, Hafiz Hussain said that first of all the government should present the recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee to the Parliament if it is sincere on Balochistan issue.
He said that government has sought assistance from the MMA to solve Balochistan issue.
He said that sense of deprivation of Balochs should be removed and the government should appoint a local person as Governor Balochistan."The military operation should be halted immediately and all the detained Baloch people should be released", he said.
He was of the view that MMA joined the PML (Q) in the Balochistan government under an agreement demanding provincial autonomy, gas royalty, employment to Balochs and other issues in detail. Unfortunately, the agreement has been violated adding that MMA would join every platform against the government and the alliance members are ready to separate themselves from the Balochistan government, and tender resignations if the combined opposition forms grand opposition alliance.—Agencies
