Afghan refugees to get identity cards on registration

ISLAMABAD—Pakistan government on behalf of UNHCR will give identity cards to the Afghan refugees after completion of the registration process.
Talking to BBC, the UNHCR spokesman in Pakistan, Babar Baloch said that the registration process of the refugees would continue in Jhang till October 14 and Chitral by end of October.
He said, formal registration of the refugees will start in whole Pakistan from October 15. The UNHCR spokesman said that identity cards would be issued to them after registration.—Agencies
