35 teachers to be awarded on 5th

ISLAMABAD—The Federal Minister for Education Javed Ashraf Qazi will confer the 'Best Teacher of the Year' award on 35 teachers from all over the country on the eve of International Teachers Day on October 5.
In Pakistan, the day will be celebrated as 'Salam Teacher Day' to pay respect and tributes to the teaching community of they country for their selfless role in national building.
The main ceremony will be held at the National Library Auditorium, where 'Best Teacher Award' on 35 teachers selected from all over the country will be conferred on the basis of their performance.
The teachers will also be given Rs 30,000 cash, along with a gold medal and a commendation certificates in recognition of their services.
