Nawaz rules out dialogue with Govt
ISLAMABAD—Former Minister and PML-N Chief, Nawaz Sharif has said that
his party had closed all doors of talks with the present government.
He expressed these views while talking to the correspondent of a private
TV Channel in his office here in London the other day.
He said that PML-N was not holding any talks with the incumbent
government. He termed the Musharraf Government as unconstitutional and
illegal. He ruled out any kind of talks with the incumbent rulers.
Commenting on President General Pervez Musharraf's book " In the line of
Fire" Mian Nawaz Sharif said that he would hold a news conference on
Monday during which he would give answers in a comprehensive way.
He, however, said that General Musharraf had elaborated a distorted
account of contemporary history in his book.
Nawaz Sharif added that injustices were on the rise in different
segments of the society. He added that all opposition parties did agree
to get rid of the army's politics and restorations of democracy.
Expressing his concern over existing situation in Balochistan, Mian
Nawaz Sharif said that the interests of military Generals in Pakistan
were clashing with the interests of the country. He further said that he
was not interested in such a rule in which he could not serve the masses
and that he wanted to up hold the supreme national interests of the
