Zameer Uddin Shah new deputy chief of Indian Army

New Delhi—Lt General Zameer Uddin Shah, elder brother of matinee idol Naseeruddin Shah, has been named as the new Deputy Chief of Army Staff.
Shah, a recepient of Sena Medal and Vishisht Seva Medal, would take over his new assignment tomorrow, said a news report. He would be in charge of personnel and system at the Army Headqaurters.
In another appointment, Lt General P N Gangadharan has been appointed as the new Military Secretary at headquarters.
Gangadharan will succeed Lt General Richard Khare on October one. Lt Gen Shivasankara Pillai Sreekumar has been appointed as the new Signal Officer in Chief of the Army. —Agencies
