Govt's economic policies strengthened economy: Sarwar

ISLAMABAD—Federal Minister for Labour, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis, Ghulam Sarwar Khan has said that the country's economy is in stable condition due to effective economic policies of President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.
Addressing a public meeting in Ranial Saturday, the Minister said that budget worth of Rs. 415 billion allocating for the development projects reflects strong economy, adding that basic facilities are being provided to people of allover the country.
Ghulam Sarwar Khan said that government's prudent polices has brought a revolutionary change in the life of common men. He said that work on a project to providing gas facility to population from Rawalpindi to Chakri is underway and would be implemented soon. The minister said that the development projects in this area have been completed in a great number during the tenure of this government.
Commenting on the defence of the country, the Minister said that country's defence is impregnable.
