Pakistan cricket team returns home without Younus

KARACHI—Pakistan Cricket team returned home on Tuesday morning from London after a disappointing three months tour of United Kingdom (UK) without Vice Captain Younus Khan.
Pakistan team was received at the Quaid-e-Azam International Airport by media representatives. No representative of Pakistan Cricket Board was present at the airport to receive the team.
The players belonging to up country left for their respective destinations by connecting flights.
Besides Younus Khan, Rana Naved-ul-Ghani and Muhammad Hafeez will return later. Rana Naved and Hafeez will participate in matcheswhile Younus stays there for some personal work.
Pakistan team lost the four match Test series to England 0-3 while five match One-Day International series ended in 2-2 stalemate with opening day/night match at Sophia Gardens Cardiff was abandoned due to rains.
Pakistan suffered defeats in the second and third Test at Old Trafford Manchester and at Headlingley Leeds to loose the series 2-0.
Opening Test of the series ended in a draw at Lords, London while England were awarded fourth and final Test at the Oval was awarded to England after ball-tampering row between Pakistan team and Australian umpire Darrell Hair.
Pakistan Captain Inzamam-ul-Haq is facing twin ball tampering charges and bringing the game into disrepute by not initially arriving in the ground after tea on the fourth day of final cricket Test on August 20 after umpire Hair and Billy Doctrove imposed five penalty runs.
The hearing of International Cricket Council (ICC) charges will be held at Dubai on September 27-28 regarding alleged ball tampering charges against Inzamam.
