AIOU extends admissions till 16th

ISLAMABAD—Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has extended it's admissions date upto September 16, 2006 by the appeals received from every nook and corner of the country from the students whose results of their educational boards declared some days ago.
Now the candidates can get the admissions forms from Metric to Ph. Dlevel programms in different disciplines and submit along with theprescribe fee upto September 16, 2006.
Director Admissions Mr. Muhammad Rafiq has announced that date for submission the admission forms would not be extended further, in any case.
The Admissions of Allama Iqbal Open University for the Semester Autumn, 2006, from Metric to Ph. D levels around the country. In Middle East countries, the admissions of BBA/BA/B.Com, Intermediate and Alisan-ul-Arabi programmes are continued.
The admissions of B.Ed and B.Ed (Arabic), Ph.D in Iqbaliyat, Food and Nutrition, Arabic, Islamic Studies, Mass Communication, M.Phill in Mass Communication, Iqbaliyat, Food and Nutrition, Islamic Studies. To qualify the GRE (International) Test and its equal exams for admissions in Ph.D and M. Phil programmes is compulsory.
The admissions of Executive MBA/MPA programmes are also included for getting admission in these programmes candidates having B.A (2nd Division) and will qualify the entry test.
MSc in four different programmes and MA in four programmes, Post Graduate Diploma in three programmes while at the level of Bachelor, Computer, Commerce and six different disciplines of Arts are included in these new admissions.
The admission forms and prospectus can be obtained from the main campus of University at Sector H-8, Islamabad as well as from its all Regional Campuses/Offices around the country while in middle east countries, the admission forms and prospectus are available in Pakistani High Commission and in Embassies.
