Pak-Indian U-19 teams accorded warm welcome

PESHAWAR—A warm welcome was accorded to Pakistan and Indian Under-19 teams on their arrival here on Monday to play the second four-day match commencing from September 13 at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium.
oth the teams were recieved by Regional Development Manager (RDM) Anwar Zeb Khan along with the president of Peshawar District Cricket Association (PDCA) Asghar Ali and Secretary General Hanif Shah.
Talking to APP Indian Coach Lala Chand Rajput said "many Indian youngsters dreamed to play in Pakistan, and we the players love to be in Peshawar where the people are known for their hospitality,".
He termed the victory in the first four-day at Rawalpindi as morale boosting for the team, adding, "it was a matter of past now as team was looking for the next clash,".
About the team combination, he said, the decision in this regard will be taken after examining the pitch.
Pakistan team coach Mansoor Rana said he was hopeing a come back from his team with more professional approach.—APP
