'PML following Pakistan Ideology'
ISLAMABAD—Pakistan Muslim League's President Ch Shujaat Hussain and
Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Sayed on Monday said their party was
making sincere efforts to improve the living standard of the people and
was following the ideology of Pakistan in a true sense.
In their messages on the occasion of 58th death anniversary of father of
nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, being observed today, the PML
leaders said Muslim League would ensure the progress and prosperity of
the country at all cost.
They said, Pakistan Muslim League, the second largest and oldest party
of the sub-continent, launched struggle for a separate home land for the
Muslims of the sub-continent under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam
Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Chaudhry Shujaat and Mushahid Hussain said Pakistan and Muslim League
were the two important, blessed and sacred trust of Quaid-e-Azam and it
was the duty of every Pakistani to protect them.
They said the PML government had achieved success in various fields
particularly relating to national economy but still there was need to
continue the struggle and devotion for establishing an Islamic,
democratic and welfare society.
The PML leaders said Islam was not the domain or estate of any one
segment of the society. He said the PML and the present government were
the real guardians to the aims and objectives of Pakistan movement and
sayings of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
They said the PML keeping in view the real Islamic traditions and
obligations would adopt the way of Quran and Sunnah according to Islamic
