No-body can
cast evil eye on Pakistan: PM
HASSAN ABDAL—Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has said that a befitting reply
will be given whosoever casts evil eye on Pakistan.
" This country has come into being in the name of Islam. The valiant
people of Pakistan have rendered unprecedented sacrifices for it. A
befitting reply will be given if some one dares to cast evil eye on it",
he said this while addressing a huge public meeting after inauguration
ceremony of Tehsil head quarters here Sunday.
Those hatching conspiracies against Pakistan and Islam should listen to
attentively that no conspiracy on their part will be allowed to succeed,
he warned.
" I was the first prime minister who undertook the visit of Beirut after
the devastation caused by war in Lebanon. We took decisions that
Pakistan army sappers would be sent to Lebanon for de-mining", he
underscored.
He went on to say Muslim League had made endeavours for the country
seven year before and we are now achieving results of hundred year. The
works, which were initiated by the President General Pervez Musharraf
seven years back, we are taking them ahead. Country's economy is growing
stronger and robust.
" I am fulfilling my one more pledge today. All the medical treatment
facilities have been provided in Teshil Headquarters Hospital in Hassan
Abdal. I had made pledge soon after elections that the best medical
facilities would be ensured to the people here. I am prime minister
because of you people. You gave me success. It is my obligation to serve
every citizen. Those who had not cast votes in favour me should
compensate for it in next election", he remarked.
He reiterated electricity would be provided to every village by 2007.
It is my endeavor that gas facility be extended to maximum number of
areas. Roads are being built in this area. Schools are being opened to
impart skills so that people could get better opportunities of
employment.
Arrangement for water drainage will be made for Hassan Abdal.
He maintained sugar prices are falling . I will announce package for
holy month of Ramadan next week. The prices of commodities in utility
stores will decrease. Utility stores are being set up in every union
council, he told.
District Nazim Attock Maj (Retd) Tahir Sadiq thanked the prime minister
for providing grant for tehsil headquarters. He also apprised the prime
minister of the problems facing the people of Attock.
" This is prime minister's constituency. If he contests election from
here, he will win the election with overwhelming majority", Tahir Sadiq
