Country has great investment potential: Soomro

ISLAMABAD—Senate Chairman Mohammadmian Soomro said that world has recognized that investment companies with huge investment were coming in Pakistan due to investment-friendly environment in the country.
He expressed these views at inaugural ceremony of 'Canyon Views' project, launched by investors group Amar and DHA.
Mohammadmian Soomro said that investors were completely satisfiedwith polices of the government and believe that there is great potential for investment in the country.
The improved labour laws have won the confidence of investors, he said adding that the government was making continuous efforts to attract foreign investment in the country and increase employment opportunities.
All these steps are aimed at transferring maximum benefits to common man and bringing more prosperity in this country, he added.
Referring the development in the construction sector, he said it would also promote several other relevant industries.
