CNN report on Mullah Omar ludicrous: Pakistan

ISLAMABAD—A government official taking strong exception of a news item which was telecast on CNN on Saturday and also posted on its website regarding presence of Mullah Omar in Pakistan has said that it is ludicrous, a baseless, and concocted story and nothing but mere figment of reporters imagination.
The official said that there has been no evidence about presence of Mullah Omar in Pakistan. The fact that such sensitive information is on the media rather than being conveyed through official channel is a good enough indication that it is nothing but an effort to create sensation, and has no reality, the official concluded.—Agencies
